When we begin to demonize black women for being sexual what we are saying is that we are uncomfortable with black women being human. We are implying that black women are not allowed to enjoy sex or its expression.

The reality is men are not the only ones who can enjoy sex. Surprising, right?

I’m a black woman who is very vocal about black sexuality, black spirituality, black feminism and black femininity. I believe that all of these things are interconnected.

Black sexuality does not need discretion.
